I kissed Katy Perry and she liked it....
So It's been two weeks since I have written in here. I suck, I know. My apologies.....
It has, however been a BUSY two weeks! So busy, I am not even sure what I should write about....
Al Gore is backing Barack Obama, George Carlin passed away (RIP) There are over 800 fires in Nor Cal, Shaquille O'Neill proves that he's still an ass... But i'm sure you all already know that..
So what have we been doing you ask? How about, shooting a music video, Warped Tour, trips to Santa Barbara...
So we spent all day Sunday, June 15th running around with good buddy D Jay Brawner who is shooting our music video for "This is Goodbye" We met up at 7am to start shooting all of the storyline footage. We found some great locations and still have a little bit left to do. Around 4pm the rest of the guys met up with D Jay, The crew and I to start shooting the live segments of the video. It was insanely hot and we were sweating like dirty farm pigs in the desert but it was all worth it. We had a great time and it came out looking awesome so far. Hopefully we will have it finished soon... until then, check out these pics..

Warped Tour.... Kevin and I went out to Pomona on Friday around 2 to check out the one and only Warped Tour. For those of you that have been to Pomona, you know that it's not the coldest stop on the tour as far as California is concerned... The temp got up to about 106. Again, sweating like a dirty farm pig in the desert... We cruised around and checked out a few friends playing and a few beers later saw our buddy Eric get a Kroq Hawk. Nothing screams warped tour like drunk dudes with no shirt on letting Kroq give them mohawks!

My recommendation from this show would have to be Cobra Starship. They put on one hell of a show!
Kevin and I headed out to Santa Barbara on Saturday to hang out with D Jay for his birthday... I'd love to tell you all about it but I don't remember much of anything other than Kevin had D Jays initials air brushed on his chest, so here are some pics instead....

shameless...
So after all that SB goodness, we grabbed about 3 hours of sleep and headed out to Ventura for another fun filled day of Warped Tour... This time around the weather was amazing.. There was a wonderful ocean breeze all day that aided the sun in burning the crap out of my shoulders without me finding out... I now have THE coolest tank top tan of all time. Amazing.
We set up the booth around 8:30... Tim and Robby rolled in at 10:30 and we got the party started.

We were giving away free Eudora stamp tattoos... She opted for the full sleeve =)

A little Eudora acoustic jam sesh

Kevin will do anything to make you smile... Even lick a sharpie that someone had just used on my hot, sweaty chest... Now thats dedication..

More goodness....

Poor Kev couldnt make it more than a mile... The little guy was all tuckered out!

Well damn... This was one super long blog... I'm going to have to update more often cause this took forever.
I hope you all have been having as much fun as we have!!
Oh, and I kissed Katy Perry and she liked it...

Last week blew...OUT
So last week was quite the extravaganza of the good ol' "what else could go wrong line." Where to begin is the only problem; well first of all I decided to help my girlfriend sell her car 3 weeks ago leaving me with no car until we find here a new one which means busses or finding rides from friends. Oh and thats the good news...here is where the story gets interesting. So last Friday Brandon and I were driving to LA to attend Shane West's birthday party, where our friends in Lunar Fiction were playing. Everything was going swimmingly until about LAX when we heard a bang almost like a gunshot. So we pulled over and took a look at his tires...everything seemed ok so we continued on our journey. Within 5 mins another one and the car started shaking a little bit...not willing to risk us being stuck in the middle of LA we got off the freeway and found a gas station. What happened in the next 30 min
s may shock you. The images are not for the faint of heart as they say...once we got off the freeway we once again inspected all the tires and nothing seemed to wrong until we got to the passenger front tire. It looked a little flat, so we just assumed that makes sense, "we get a nail or something stuck in it." So I being the nice guy I am and since Brandon drive and was in all white clothing, I decided to put on the spare. After about 5 mins the spare was down and the car was on the jack.

Once the flat tire was off we didnt originally see anything until I flipped the tire around and saw that there was something a little bigger then a nail that was causing the tire to lose ai
r. Yeah it looks like jaws came out of the water to take a bite of the tire. We were literally blown away by how close we could have come to dying from driving on a tire like that for almost 6 miles. So after a few minutes and after taking a couple more pics to write this blog about, we had the tire changed and were on our way to see Lunar Fiction rock the party. Once we got there we were greated with a smile and hug from the Lunar Fiction guys right before they went on. Once they got done they were followed by a girl fronte band who was ripping the head off a baby doll and throwing it into the crowd. At that point we decided it was now 2am and the night couldnt have gotten any better. So we decided to go home...of course there are more details, but this is getting too long so if you want to know more, leave a comment telling us you need more haha. So either way we left, went home, and went to sleep. The next day we headed out to LA for a Vans sponsored art show from an artist by the name of Niagra. So...Brandon, Ashley, Kelly, and I headed out for a night of art and good times. The show was great and we stayed from 6 til 9, at that point the gallery closed down. At 9:34 we called Toeknee from Lunar Fiction to ask what was going on since it was his bday...of course there was a party!!! We headed back to Orange County and started to RAGE! haha. It was a good time, hanging out with friends and just telling stories of bands that had come and gone and bands that were just getting started. After about a hour of being there we got a call from Robby Friend and Tim Markel!!! yes the guitar players of this band, saying that they would come out and have some fun with us. Once the guys got there I was a little past sober and began to drink water...I know sometimes I disappoint, but the funny thing is Robby asked me if I was drinking straight vodka...anyway within 2 hours the night was starting to dwindle and everyone was starting to leave, so we took that as our cue to go home. When we got home we heard Kelly say, "Brandon your car looks funny," and we replied with "yeah, yeah, we are tired." After 2 straight nights of being up til the sun was ready to come up we went to bed. 4 hours later the sun came out and we had a lot of stuff to do. So we got up and got ready to go look at places to shoot our music video for "This is Goodbye
," which is being shot this Sunday coming up. When we got to Brandons car we both looked at eachother and said, "NOT AGAIN!!!!" There is no way we get to change tires 2 days in a row....Like I said last week BLEW OUT. How in 2 days do we get 2 flat tires.

This time it was the passenger back tire and it wasnt quite as extreme, but the tire still have a major gash in it. So this time it was Brandon's turn and without a spare he had to call a tire store on a Sunday and try to find 2 tires and a tire store that was open. After calling a couple places he found a place that was about $75 a tire, so he took my truck and got 2 new tires. 2 new tires, 2 days later, and $200 spent on tires, really made for a weekend of disaster. But you know we found a way to have fun and do what friends do best, make fun of the situation and take it for what it was. I random weekend in LA.

My scissors dont lose to rock, period

MmMmMmmm Blogging is yummy... So I've decided to start this for anyone who wants a closer look inside of myself and the boys of Eudora... I've chosen "A day in the life of you an I" because I feel it states exactly what I'm going for... I hope you enjoy and become an active part of it with me, sharing your stories as well....
We played Friday 5/30 at Chain reaction with Halifax, Halos and The Jakes.... I have to be honest, I was pretty concerned that there wouldn't be anyone there as Metro station, The Cab and The Maine were all playing at House of Blues in Anaheim the same night... As The evening went on, my fears were confirmed. Not because I think we have to play to hundreds of kids every night but because I wanted everyone that had paid to see us to get an awesome show... A $14 dollar ticket and a 25 minute set... Sounds like BS to me... We don't belong on a $14 dollar ticket... You know what you can buy with $14?? Thats 28 tacos at jack in the crack! I could live off that for a week! Sorry, I ramble...
So we went backstage to start stretching and getting ready and Robby brought up the fact that our set was too long and we would have to cut a song... After much deliberation we all decided that we want to keep the set the way it was because again, for $14 bucks, you guys deserve as much as we can give you!
As soon as we walked outside I felt this overwhelming energy take over.... The heart and energy that these guys had was nothing short of amazing!! I have never felt so much rock at one of our shows..... We couldn't help but smile through half the set... I felt on top of the world and 10 feet tall and it was all because of everyone in that room... This is my thank you to you, fellow rocker. You are our lifeline. Without you, we are nothing. I have truly realized that we have THE BEST friends/fans any band could ever ask for... Here is to more amazing nights between "you and I"
Here is a video that our good buddy Robert at Punkvideosrock.com put together of "This is Goodbye" I hope you enjoy and if you were there, see yourself =) There are more videos to come.... I love you all
